The laboratory of humanitarian research of Novosibirsk state university is created in 1988. It became one of the results of the development of the Siberian school of archaeology, based by academician A. P. Okladnikov. Its scientific leader – academician A. P. Derevyanko, the leaders of scientific projects – chief scientists academician V. I. Molodin, professor Yu. S. Khudyakov and others. By the association of laboratory is executed a number of major scientific projects on the urgent problems of Siberia. For the first time in our country and abroad it is completely dug out Russian ostrog – Sayansky in the Yenisey, large tombs of tashtyk culture and period of the middle ages, number of the tombs of the late middle ages and beginning of New time. Are made the bright findings, which make it possible to solve a number of the crying problems of the development of religious ideas in the Turkish population of South Siberia, to reveal the processes of reciprocal effects between the Russian and native population of region and something different. The association of subdivision works by pillar in the course of assistance to the integration of achievements of fundamental science and higher education in the humanitarian sphere, accomplishment of mission, which were being placed with A. P. Okladnikov before Siberian archaeology and ethnography.
Лаборатория гуманитарных исследований Новосибирского государственного университета создана в 1988 г. Она стала одним из результатов развития сибирской школы археологии, основанной академиком А. П. Окладниковым. Ее научный руководитель – академик А. П. Деревянко, руководители научных проектов – ведущие ученые академик В. И. Молодин, профессор Ю. С. Худяков и др. Коллективом лаборатории выполнен ряд крупных научных проектов по актуальной сибиреведческой проблематике. Впервые в нашей стране и за рубежом полностью раскопан русский острог – Саянский на Енисее, крупные могильники таштыкской культуры и периода средневековья, ряд могильников позднего Средневековья и начала Нового времени. Сделаны яркие находки, позволяющие решить ряд актуальных вопросов развития религиозных представлений у тюркского населения Южной Сибири, выявить процессы взаимовлияний между русским и коренным населением региона. Коллектив подразделения работает целиком в русле содействия интеграции достижений фундаментальной науки и высшего образования в гуманитарной сфере, выполнения задач, ставившихся А. П. Окладниковым перед сибирской археологией и этнографией.
