In the present work to study the role of thrombophilia in pregnancy and genetic polymorphism of the hemostatic system and the folate cycle in the development of pathology of gestational process and their impact on the health of newborns was a retrospective analysis and prospective study, in general, 247 pregnant and postpartum women with thrombophilia and 251 newborns. In addition to various hemostatic disorders in women with thrombophilia and their children revealed high frequency of polymorphic variants of genes MTHFR, factor V (mutation FV Leiden), prothrombin – FII, GpIIIa and PAI-I, which led to the development of various complications as a process of gestation, and promoted the development of ischemic-hemorrhagic complications in the perinatal period in their children. The risk of thrombotic complications in newborns from mothers with thrombophilia than the presence of hereditary factors, caused hypercoagulative status and high levels of thrombinemia that requires further follow-up.
