To assess the epidemiological situation with diabetes mellitus (DM) of Novosibirsk City based on the register from 2000 to 2008.A prospective study was conducted using the data base of the City register of diabetes.There is increasing incidence of DM in Novosibirsk City. Type 2 DM is predominant in the structure of DM. There is a positive trend in reducing the frequency of complications as in patients with type 1 DM as well as patients with type 2 diabetes during the period from 2000 to 2008. There are also positive dynamics of the immediate causes of death rates from DM and an increase of the average age of death, which indicate the adequacy of ongoing therapeutic and prophylactic measures.
Проведено проспективное исследование с использованием информационной базы Городского регистра сахарного диабета (СД) в Новосибирске. Выявлен прирост заболеваемости СД, преобладал вариант болезни 2-го типа. За период с 2000 по 2008 г. наметилась позитивная тенденция снижения частоты осложнений как у больных с СД 1-го, так и 2-го типов, отмечены положительная динамика показателей непосредственных причин смерти от СД и увеличение среднего возраста наступления смерти, что свидетельствует об адекватности проводимых лечебно-профилактических мероприятий.
